EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Minimum five years relevant debtors experience
• Credit Management Level 2-3

SKILLS

• Sound verbal, written and telephonic communication skills in English
• Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Pastel)
• Precise and accurate accounting / administration skills, as well as attention to detail
• Deadline orientated and analytical
• Energetic and flexible disposition
• Sound organizational ability

OTHER

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

• General administration and accounting duties, relating to Debtors (Accounts Receivable)
• Monthly Reconciliation of debtors’ accounts
• Collating and preparing invoicing data from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
• Preparing and circulating monthly Invoicing and statements
• Monthly collections of monies due
• Liaising with debtors and following up on queries
• Capturing of cash books
• Following up on overdue accounts and adhering to set standards.
• Downloading / Preparation of invoicing /balancing from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
• Completion of debtors age analysis and allocation of aging
• Monitoring of orders and account balances to ensure that credit limits are not exceeded, arranging interim payments, where required.
• Preparation of credit applications and data reports for new trade facility applications
• General administration and filing
• Liaising with sales staff and plant staff, where required
• Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
• Assisting the Accountant and Financial Manager, where required
